Disgusted and Ticked Off.

Current Mood:Angry emoticon Angry

I am not quite sure where to begin. Last week was somewhat pleasant and this week is turning out to be not so great. First of all, I got a call from the doctors office today and was informed that I have an appointment in at the Regional hospital tomorrow for a mamogram. My doctors receptionist left the message on my phone and requested that I call her back. Thanks for giving me so much notice . (sarcasim).

Anyway, the regional hospital is quite a distance from where I live and I just have no way to get there4 tomorrow. So I phoned her back (she was gone to lunch) and left her a message telling her of my situation. Terry has work in the morning and I just have no way to get there.

Game Of Cat And Mouse.

Current Mood:Welcoming emoticon Welcoming

The antics just never seem to stop in this house. Last night Jordan went into his room and 5 mins later, he came downstairs and said he seen a mouse up there. Now we have not seen a mouse in here for about 2 years, give or take. As for myself, I am scared of them.

Anyway, Jordan informed us that it went behind his T.V. At this time, I happened to look out my dining room window and noticed out cat (Spike) was sitting on our front step. Now Spike was a great mouse catcher. So we brought him in and Terry took him up to Jordan’s room. Much to my surprise, the mouse was still in the room. I figured he would be long gone. Well anyway, Spike did get a glimpse of him, turned around , and left the room. WTF???? This threw me for a loop because Spike used to be ready to ponce on them if they crossed his path.

Running On Empty..

Current Mood:Sleepy emoticon Sleepy

Well here it is 3.05 am , I am cranky, tired and sore.Hey, but at least I am here. I know I should be in bed right now asleep, but what the hell. Thought I would do a little post first to keep you all updated.

First of all, I went to the doctor’s office yesterday at his request. Had to get a little examination (i hate those damn things) due to me having the mastitis infection. Let me just say I hate having a doctor poking and prodding at me. Always have hated it and always will.

A Beautiful Sight.

Current Mood:Welcoming emoticon Welcoming

Have been seeing a lot of sightings in my yard lately. The past few days I have been having 5 to 6 ducks at a time coming to visit me on a daily basis once again.

But the past 2 days there was an even more beautiful sight in my back yard. For the past while now, Terry and I have had a bird feeder out back. Several birds have been coming there every day to clean up on the bird seed. Well a couple of days ago, we bought a different bird seed than what we usually get. Yesterday and today, out in our yard there was the beautiful sight of a blue Jay. It is the first time I have ever seen one up close. They are simply georgeous. There are 2 different ones that have been out there so far. I put together a little slide show of photos we took of them. Just click on the “Play” button to start the slide show.

Aren’t they adorable ?

That Time Of Year..

Current Mood:Blue emoticon Blue & Sleepy emoticon Sleepy

Well it’s that time of year once again that keeps me constantly busy. Maybe not everyone realizes this yet, but it is only a little over 2 months until Christmas.

I know we have to get through Halloween first. Yes I have my page sone up with a georgeous Halloween theme, but truth be told, I despise Halloween. I never really cared for it when I was a kid. Sure it wasn’t really all that bad then, a few eggs being thrown here and there. But nothing like it is now. Now a lot of teenagers use Halloween as an excuse to destroy property,. They don’t care who they hurt along the way.

Christmas is my favourite event. I started christmas shopping already. Terry, Blair and I went to Sydney last week and bought some adorable things for the baby . (My grandson} Believe me when I say that I am not finished getting for him yet.
