Current Mood: aching

What is it with kids these days. We start getting a bit of warm weather and the first thing they think of is Grass fires. It makes me sick.

I really don’t know who to blame in some instances, the kids or the parents. Things have totally gotten way out of hand. These parents need to sit down with their kids and explain the seriousness of what they are doing. I know it’s not all the parents fault. Some kids will just do whatever they want to do, no matter what their parents say. But their are some parents who don’t care where their kids are as long as they are not in their hair.

On sunday, a 64 year old man was out walking his dog and was caught in one of these grass fires. He was rushed to the hospital and unfortunately , yesterday morning , he passed away.
Now like I said, things have gotten really out of control. What are these kids gaining by starting these grass fires . They are putting lives at risk. They start the fires mostly in large fields but some of them now are even being started close to houses. There just doesn’t seem to be any end to all of this. How many more lives are going to be taken before these kids wake up and realize that this is not a game but a very serious matter. . Take care all and lots of hugs ..
