Where To Start…

Current Mood:Bitchy emoticon Bitchy & Sick emoticon Sick

Got a lot on my mind the past few days, don’t really know where to start. Guess I will start with the pleasant things first.

Jordan started high school yesterday and surprisingly , he likes it there. I was really glad to hear this. But the past couple of years, the high school had really gotten out of hand with the drugs etc. Last year they even had a police officer assigned inside the school with his own office etc. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to do much good. Well this year, they still have the police officer inside, but they also have a couple of security guards outside. I was glad to hear this because I worry over Jordan once he leaves this house. He is a good kid and I don’t want anything to happen to him. Because if anything ever did, the person responsible had better hope the law gets him before I do.

That Kind Of Day

Current Mood:Blue emoticon Blue

I know it’s a little early, but I decided to put up my Halloween theme already. I purchased this last night . Isn’t it adorable . I thought by putting this up now it would help take my mind off stuff etc because I have been feeling really down.

I finished taking all of my antibiodics, but unfortunately all the infection is not gone yet. I am also in some pain still.

Progress !!!

Current Mood:Loved emoticon Loved

Just thought I would pop on here and give you all an uptate of my progress. Well I am still taking the antibiodics and apparently they are still working. Unfortunately I still have some pain. The strange thing is, my skin is actually peeling from where I was burned from the fever.

I will be so glad when it’s all over and done with so I can get back to normal blogging .

Breakthrough.

Current Mood:Sick emoticon Sick

Well I think I finally got a breakthrough in this infection I have been battling. Today , a lot of the infection decided to release itself. At first it scared tjhe crap out of me. But at least it is coming out. Those meds the doctor prescribed must be powerful ones. I know I am not out of the woods yet and there is a lot more that needs to come out. But I will get through it. As long as I don’t have to get anything drained, I will be fine.

Now, there is something else I want to talk about. For quite some time, I have had a lot to deal with and have been under a great deal of stress a lot of the time. But there are just some things I need to talk or vent about but they are kind of personal issues and I don’t want to put them on here for the entire population to view.

But it is also not good to keep things bottled up inside of me. There are a select few people I really trust out here. So from time to time, you may see a locked post on here. I will send the pw to the people in which I know their email addys.

I feel this is something I need to do because at times I just need advice or someone to talk to so this will be like group therapy.

So that’s it for now. Take care all and lots of hugs.

Mastitis !!!!

Current Mood:Sick emoticon Sick & Sleepy emoticon Sleepy

*****************************************
Non-lactational mastitis: Bacteria also cause this infection. Women who smoke, have a breast condition called ductal ectasia, have diabetes, or have weak immune systems due to cancer treatments or certain illnesses may be at a higher risk of developing this infection.

What are the signs and symptoms of mastitis?

Signs and symptoms can include:

* a breast that is swollen, red and warm to the touch
* breast pain
* chills or fever (temperature above 38.5 degrees C or 101.4 degrees F)
* flu-like symptoms
* feeling very tired
* development of a breast abscess (a collection of pus)

How is mastitis of the breast treated?

It is important to call your doctor right away if you have symptoms of cellulitis. It is important to be treated as soon as possible to prevent the infection from spreading. Any one or more of the following may be done:

* You may have an ultrasound.
* Antibiotics may be started.
* You may need to be seen by a surgeon.

For any discomfort, your doctor may suggest that you:

* take acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol)
* apply a cold pack to the breast to help manage the discomfort.
* wear a well-fitting bra and not do any movements that would cause your breasts to move

After you have had mastitis, the area of the infection may change in texture (feel). Some changes may look like microcalcifications on a mammogram. Tell your mammogram technologist that you have had mastitis before.”>

What you see above is some research I did on the internet today on “Mastitis” I went to the doctor today and he confirmed that a severe case of mastitis is what I have. I thought it might be the case because before my visit, I looked up my symptoms on the net and Mastitis came up several times. The above article, gives a bit more insight to the problem so you guys will have a better idea of my condition. I am gong to go into a bit more detail of what I have been going through.
